Warranty

Journey Health & Lifestyle™ warrants all our products to be free from defects in materials, workmanship and assembly. A standard twelve (12) months warranty from the original purchase date applies to the core list of Journey products under normal use in accordance with specifications and warnings and with some limitations, exclusions, restraints or extensions including but not limited to parts, labor, service and other specific considerations. (Specific additional limitations and extensions of warranty, particularly as they relate to the Journey Health & Lifestyle™ line of mobility products, can be found in the Addendum below.) If within the twelve-month warranty period, any component or part shall be proven to the satisfaction of Journey Health & Lifestyle™ to be defective, the product shall, at the option of Journey Health & Lifestyle™, be repaired or replaced. Contact Journey Health & Lifestyle™ before sending any product for warranty repair or replacement. Do not send any product without our prior written consent.

Limitations and Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, damage in shipment, improper operation or failure to follow instructions according to the User Manual, component failure, improper storage, neglect of prescribed maintenance procedures, repair or attempted repair or modifications made or authorized by anyone other than Journey Health & Lifestyle™, normal gradual reduction in battery performance due to heavy use, deterioration due to external factors such as extremes in temperature or humidity, corrosive atmosphere or other natural events such as lightning, flood or circumstances beyond the control of Journey Health & Lifestyle™.

Addendum
In addition to the previously cited provisions of the standard one-year warranty above, the frame, mechanical and electrical components including the motor of each mobility product in the Journey Health & Lifestyle™ mobility line is further specifically warrantied for the same twelve-month period. In addition, warrantied instead for a six- (6) month period are the originally supplied battery, tires, fabric seat, seat back and seat cushion, all guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the original purchase date. 

If, within such warranty period, any component or part shall be proven to the satisfaction of Journey Health & Lifestyle™ to be defective, the product shall at the option of Journey Health & Lifestyle™ be repaired or replaced with new or refurbished product components. In some cases an installation kit with instructions may be provided to the owner to facilitate installation of a replacement product component. Warranty relating to mobility products does not include any labor charges incurred in product component installation. The warranty period of the repaired or replaced product shall terminate with the termination of the warranty period for the original product. The sole obligation of Journey Health & Lifestyle™, and the customer’s exclusive remedy under this warranty, shall be limited to such repaired or replaced product.

What are the benefits of the So Lite Glide walker?

The So Lite Glide has been exclusively designed to make walking safer, healthier, and easier. Its adjustable armrests and handgrips enable a custom fit for almost any body type, so you can stand up straight and see where you are going—without putting pressure on your wrists and hands. It’s crafted from sturdy yet lightweight aluminum for stability and portability.

Does the So Lite Glide require assembly?

Your So Lite Glide comes practically assembled   just follow these easy steps and your Glide will be ready to use.

  • Remove product from shipping carton and lay down on a flat surface.
  • Unfold the walker base and stand the walker base on all four wheels. Hold the handle and push it upward to make the folding device buckle with the main frame.
  • Unfold the walker frame and push down and out on the seat support tubes until they are secured in the frame cradles. You should hear the seat click when properly engaged.
  • Press the orange release button and push the armrest tube downward to your desired height. There should be an audible "click" to signal that the orange release button is fully engaged. Repeat the steps for the other armrest. The armrests should be set at a height high enough, so you are standing upright but not so high as to cause your shoulders to "hunch". Set both arm rests at the same height and put equal weight on each forearm while using your Glide.
  • Pull lever to adjust the hand grip arms, then push lever to lock into position.
  • Snap the cane holder (if available) all the way until it’s secured.
  • Slide the clips over the right and left seat rail extensions to attach the personal item bag. 
  • Attach the backrest by sliding the T-slot on the end of the backrest onto the respective mating T-ridge on the front of the frame under the armrests. Repeat for the other end of the backrest. Check to confirm that the T-slots and T-ridges are fully engaged on both ends of the backrest. The backrest may be left on the walker or removed when not in use.


Is the So Lite Glide easy to handle for transit or storage?

Yes! It's specifically designed to be incredibly easy to fold which makes the So Lite Glide a breeze to transport wherever you may need to go or store as needed.

Do the brakes lock to prevent the So Lite Glide from rolling?

Yes! The So Lite Glide features an innovative braking system...hand brakes to use while walking and locking brakes to prevent rolling.

How do you fold the So Lite Glide?

Folding the So Lite Glide is so simple! Lift up on the seat release and gently slide the Glide closed. To make the Glide even smaller for transport, you can lower the armrests to their lowest position as well.

What is the warranty on the So Lite Glide?

The So Lite Glide frame and mechanical components are covered with a one-year limited warranty. The originally supplied tires and fabric seat are covered with a limited warranty for six months. You can find out more information about the warranty in the User Manual & Warranty package.

Shipping
After placing your order, please allow about 1 to 3 business days (Mon-Fri) to process your order and get it shipped out of the warehouse. After that, please allow another 4 to 5 days on the road. Generally, we tell our customers to expect a delivery within 5 to 8 total days from the day of purchase. We use standard ground shipping (UPS or FedEx) for most items, but larger items such as beds or recliners require freight shipping and usually take about 1 to 3 weeks for delivery. If you order a larger item that requires freight delivery, the shipping company will call you about a week before the estimated delivery date to schedule the drop off. Expedited shipping is currently not an option. We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, any U.S. Territory, APO/FPO, or any other international address. Please note that orders could arrive in multiple packages. These shipping times are only estimates, as we occasionally experience delays due to supply chain issues.

Returns
If you have any issues with your item, we are only a phone call or email away. We are happy to offer you a return within 30-days of the date of purchase. You will be responsible for any return shipping fees and a 2.9% processing fee. Lastly, some items may have no restocking fee, but some items may have a restocking fee that ranges anywhere between 5% to 25%. Every vendor is a little bit different, so please ask about your specific item for more information. To start a return, you can contact us at info@restoremobility.com or give us a call at 800-971-5369. To qualify for a return, the item must be in new/unused condition, and in the original box and packaging. Once your return is accepted, we’ll send you the instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that most add-on accessories are non-refundable. Please also note that Journey, Tzora, and JBH items are non-returnable items.

Damages/Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. Once approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@restoremobility.com.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to go through the return process for the item you have, and once the return is accepted, you would then make a separate purchase for the new item.

Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order, please let us know as soon as possible. The sooner the better! In general, we will try to capture your payment at the time of shipment or after 7 days from the date of purchase to avoid any processing fees due to cancellation. However, if you choose to cancel your order after we have captured your payment, then you will be subject to a 2.9% processing fee.
